Hooray! Hopefully the news that you have all been waiting for! As gyms re open on the 25th of July, I intend to resume Tae Kwon Do training on Monday 27th July. Initially training on Mondays and Wednesdays will be for one hour for all grades from 6-7pm and will take place at Holme Brook Valley Country Park.
We will assemble at the Pavilion, which is next to the top car park just off Water Meadow Lane. It is an ideal place as there is vast flat area that we can utilise maintaining social distancing
Please arrive for lesson in good time (5.45pm) so that we can move to a suitable free space.
With regards payment for lessons, I am asking that where possible a bank transfer is made to avoid the handling of cash (please see post on the facebook home learning site or message me for bank details).
If this is not possible, please could you put your fee into an envelope with name and amount in either cash or cheque.
For those who have continued to pay monthly during lockdown- a HUGH THANKYOU! Perhaps you would continue in the same way. For anyone else, you have the option to either pay monthly at the rate you were paying prior to lockdown or pay per sessions at the cost of £5. Please get in touch if you need to discuss this further.
I would also really appreciate the money in advance of a session and also for you to let me know if you intend to attend so that I have a rough idea of numbers per session. We will need to space out accordingly.
With regards to Little PUMA training, I feel at the moment it is not safe enough, partly due to the need for a more ‘hands on’ approach and also the safety of the surrounding area. I will of course re- assess in due course and begin as soon possible.
I have had little feedback from our usual venues so I am at present I an unsure how long this arrangement will last for. I will of course listen to your thoughts and comments and make changes as and where I see appropriate.
Obviously we need to be extremely caution and vigilant about safety, with this is mind:
- Please bring your own equipment i.e. focus pads/kick shield…mums and dads you may be needed to help support with holding pads!
- Please wear appropriate training attire. It would be nice to see Chesterfield TKD training T-shirt’s but be mindful of the weather.
- Please wear appropriate footwear for outdoor training
- Please bring a drink
- Please bring hand sanitiser!
If you have any further queries, please be in touch via facebook, message or phone. I am happy to help where I can.
I hope you are as excited to get back to some sort of training as I am! I can’t wait to see you all!
Best Regards,
Emma Deakin
