On Saturday 18th April 2015 at:

Thornbury Leisure centre
Alveston Hill
Thornbury
South Glos, BS35 3JB

At the last Seminar, Mr Weir showed off his immense fighting skills, teaching stretching, kicking drills, fight strategy, and fitness drills. To everyone’s suprise he donned his P.U.M.A approved sparring equipment and sparred all the students in a controlled friendly manner. He has agreed to do much the same with added stand up self defence.

Some of you who do not know of Mark Weir will be pleasantly surprised with his friendly professional manner. He started competing in the same team as Master Gayle and Master Ogborne, representing Taekwon-do around world at a variety of different tournaments. He won several National, International and World titles, Including the World Team Championships in 1991 with Team England which included a young Mark Ogborne.

After winning several World TKD individual titles, In 2002 Mr Weir shot to fame after taking up Mixed Martial Arts (cage fighting). He topped the bill at the first UFC (Ultimate Fight Championship) in the UK at the Albert Hall. The exciting up and coming fighter had a match up against Eugene “The Wolf" Jackson who had a hard man reputation. Mr Weir knocked him out cold after only 10 seconds with an axe kick jab combination.

We look forward to seeing you there, you will be assured of some great training in a fun and friendly environment. Mark will also be available for training tips and photographs after each session.

If you are interested in taking part in the seminar, please see your instructor to book a place.
