9 June 2010

  • Mr Phillips TKD Theory Questions document download added to the Theory page. A document with questions and answers can be downloaded in the documents section of the member area.
  • A form for coloured belt entry into the ICTF Open Inter-Continental Championships 2010 can be downloaded either in the members area documents section or using the link at the bottom of the news story.

17 May 2010

  • An updated Student Competition Entry Form is now available in the member area. You should use this for the PUMA English Championships 2010.

  • Updated Join Us page.
  • An updated Our Club page now contains a new introduction to the club.
  • A new Location & Days page now contains details on finding the club and when training usually takes place.
  • PUMA Bo Staff (Bong) Syllabus added to the Member Area.

  • Fixed menu bar highlight. The correct main menu bar option will remain highlighted according to the page you are viewing.
  • Re-organised menus ro group pages more consistently, in particular Extra Training, Regular Competitions and Special Events can now be found under Calendar.
  • Breadcrumbs (the 'You are here' links below the menu) are now functioning for all pages to make navigation easier.

17 March 2010

  • Fixed a problem on the homepage when clicking the icon next to an event in the upcoming events block. This will now take you to the correct page.
  • Added a favourates icon and Apple iPod/iPhone icon that will show up when you bookmark the website.
  • Added pages for all black belt patterns from Kwang-Gae to Tong-Il, you can access them all from the blue footer block.

Tae Kwon-Do

Tae Kwon-Do is the scientific use of the body in the method of self defence. A body that has gained the ultimate use of it's facilities through physical and mental training. Tae Kwon-Do will improve your flexibility, strengthen your body, help channel agressions and reduce overall stress.

Where & When

Training usually takes place at Brookfield Community School, Chatsworth Road, Chesterfield on Mondays and Wednesdays.

History

General Choi Hong Hi Black Belt, 9th Degree 1918-2002

General Choi founded Tae Kwon-Do in 1955 and it is now the worlds most popular martial art.

Tae Kwon-Do literally means 'The way of the foot and fist'.
