PUMA British 2011 Results

Posted on 29/11/2011

A very well done to Mr Thomas Bailey and Aidan Bailey who represented Chesterfield Tae Kwon Do in the recent PUMA British Championships (Sunday 27th November). Mr Thomas Bailey won Silver in sparring and Bronze in pattens and Aidan Bailey won Bronze in his sparring division.

An excellent perfromance from both students, at which proved to be a very well attended competition - the standard as always, of an extremley high level. Miss Emma Deakin (Instructor) also won Bronze in 3rd/4th Degree Pattens and a Gold in Blackbelt Flyweight Sparring.

As an area, the New Century Squad members did very well, bringing home a haul of medals. This proves that regular squad training is certainly beneficial to anyone who wishes to compete at any level. The last squad training of 2011 is Saturday 3rd December, it would be good to see this well supported. Watch out for squad dates for 2012.
