PUMA Northern Championships - Entries

Saturday March 26th Biddulph Leisure Centre, Stoke on Trent. This tournament is open to all graded Tae Kwon Do students and Little PUMA's. It is a great oppourtunity to experience a competition if you have never entered before as it is a local event!

Deadline for Chesterfield entries is Monday 21st March. Entries will not be accepted after this date.

If you are interested in competeing please either download the student competition entry form or ask in class for a form. All categories and tournament details are in the details from Master Gayle.

Come on Chesterfield! I would love to see as many students as possible support this event!

Additional Information from Master Gayle

Cadet division is for red and black belt sparring only. If there are insufficient numbers for sparring the division could be point stop. There is no cadet pattern division.

Veterans division is for red and black belt sparring and patterns. If there are insufficient numbers the sparring may be point stop and patterns may be combined with the other divisions.

Junior white belts can enter high kick and bully bob sparring.

There will be 'Bully Bob' Sparring for junior 10th, P1, P2 & 9th kups.

IMPORTANT: Any student wishing to perform a musical pattern, should send the music to Master Gayle via email by Monday 21st March 2011. They should also have the disc available at the competition on a CD with just that track recorded only.

Tae Kwon-Do

History

General Choi Hong Hi Black Belt, 9th Degree 1918-2002

General Choi founded Tae Kwon-Do in 1955 and it is now the worlds most popular martial art.

Tae Kwon-Do literally means 'The way of the foot and fist'.
