Bo Staff Seminar & Grading - Cancelled

Posted on 03/02/2011

This has been cancelled due to instructor injury, it will be re-scheduled for April. More details to follow. Mr Weyman (3rd DegreeTang Soo Do Instructor and Grading Examiner) will be coming to our area to take a Bo-Staff Seminar on Saturday March 5th. The Seminar will then be followed by a grading, for those who wish to.

This is an ideal opportunity for all students in the area to ‘have a go at’ and learn something new. You do not need to have previous experience of Bo-Staff to take part- the Seminar will be tailored to the group. If you do not have a Bo-Staff and wish to take part- do not worry, we have some that you can borrow.

There will be no pressure placed on any student to grade, although anyone attending the seminar will be eligible to take the grading. There will be gradings for all levels- allowing everyone to progress. Please note that if you intend to enter Bo-staff categories in PUMA competitions, you must have graded in weapons.

The cost of the seminar is £12 if paid in advance and £15 on the day. Gradings cost £10, which again can be paid in advance or on the day (it may be possible for some students to ‘double grade’). In order to ensure this seminar will run and costs kept at a minimum- please see your instructor ASAP and book your place. The venue is yet to be confirmed- either James Brindley High School, Chell or Leek High School - more detail to follow.
